The Focus- Center for Development won a new project within the programme “Youth initiatives- 2010”. The name of the project is “Volunteer 007” and it is aimed at developing interaction between public institutions, such as the Municipality, the local police, hospitals, and other institutions which may need support from volunteers, who belong to the local community.
The main objective of the project is to make the citizens stop believing in stereotypes and get in touch with volunteering, in order to carry out voluntary work in different fields and help, therefore, the public benefit. The Focus Association is looking for volunteers of any age who are willing to participate in its activities, which have been realized thanks to the financial support of the Workshops for Civic Initiatives Foundation. The Focus Association invites those that may be interested in being involved in some voluntary work to meet the members of the association and ask for further information at this address: Boulevard Bulgaria 57, 4th floor, office number 406.
