One team works for the S-Pass (Salzburg’s youth card which is an offical age ID as well as a card that offers young people in Salzburg many reductions in museums, buses, at freetime activities as skiing or swimming and driving schools) the other is the Youth Information Centre near the old town of Salzburg. The EVS volunteer supports both teams (S-Pass and Youth Information Centre) for 30h/week, Monday – Friday (weekends and late-night hours will take place according to our projects and will be communicated soon enough to the volunteer). Typical activities: EVS at the department akzente Youth Service means office as well as event support. Office: - printing brochures - small maintainance work - blog writing - basic computer work - rendering movie files - database - CMS: homepage updates Events: - taking fotos - promoting S-Pass - assisting in workshops - small maintainance + carrying - filming Our volunteer will get a great inside on how a professional youth organisation (with its many different ways of working for young people) is run and how concept writing and event managing in the field of youth work works. We can offer the volunteer support in learning CMS-systems, concept writing, video making, photografing, handling of workshops, blog writing, etc.
